A Weekend Event

This weekend Fred and I decided to try and have a yard sale.
Today we did a good job getting rid of things, but didn’t really make much money. We gave away many of our items to my two cousins who are getting ready to move out on their own this fall. I’m just glad we were able to get rid of some stuff! We have so many things that we just don’t need sitting around our house.
I don’t know many people who actually expect to make a lot of money on their yard/garage sales (even though secretly, everyone hopes to make some money). To me. I’m happy to get rid of stuff without having to throw it away, make a little money, and get to chat with some interesting people. Those are all things we did today…we even watched a woman climb out of her mini-van through the window!
So, if you are interested, stop on down and say hi tomorrow from 8-4, you may end up with some free stuff too!
