Happy Halloween!

Just a little something I made for the holiday.

Just a little something I made for the holiday.
OK, I want this for Christmas… but I promise I will watch it with Calvin.
It’s raining here in Northeast Ohio, so here’s a little smile to brighten your day!
For more sunshine, see our photo page.
Calvin has been taking baths since he was about 3 weeks old, when his little umbilical cord came off. Up until just recently, last week I believe, he has screamed and cried through the whole bathing process. I was able to snap a few pictures of him during a happy bath time.
“I guess it’s not that bad”
“Wait, do you have to do that?”
“I’m cold and wet! This isn’t fun anymore!”
“Ok, honestly, baths are not so bad… except for the drying off part.”
Calvin is getting so big, it’s hard to believe he’s almost 2 months old. He smiles at familiar faces now and entertains Fred and I with his babbles and coos. He’s also starting to show some personality; he hates to wait for anything, especially a meal (I think his impatience comes from his father), but he loves to see what’s going on around him and show off his strength (he thinks he is ready to stand on his own already). Cal is a generally happy baby!

Sara’s Alma Mater, Kent State, vs my Alma Mater, the University of Akron, continues their instate rivalry today.
I have confidence in my Akron Zips that they will dominate the Kent State Golden Flashes… keep updated on the annual “Akron beats Kent” tradition over at ESPN.com:
