Calvin, Tell Everyone How Much You Like Cereal

He just keeps growing and growing…
Monday, December 8th, 2008Calvin will be exacty 4 months old next Thursday! I can’t believe how fast the last 4 months have gone (except for the sleepless nights)! Lately Cal’s been holding conversations with his toys, grasping and holding onto things, sitting up straight, and sleeping less at night. Yes, he used to sleep 6 hour at a time at night, but in the last 3 weeks, he’s been getting up every 2 to 3 hours all night long. Just like when we first brought him home from the hospital. This has not made mornings easy for me or his father (I am the crabbiest person on Earth when I don’t get enough sleep!). Cal has become a very big eater, so, after a long phone call with the pediatrician, we started giving Cal cereal (just in the evening, so far):
“You’re doing it wrong Dad!”
“That’s a little better, keep it coming!”
“Isn’t there any more? I like this stuff!”
Of course now Cal prefers cereal to milk, I think it’s because he’s getting ready to use the tooth he is going to get soon. Yep, last night we entered the dreaded teething phase. Cal woke up crying every half an hour, all. night. long. Let’s hope tonight is a little better! Mom and Dad need their sleep!!!
