Friday’s Food: Pan Spaghetti
Friday, July 31st, 2009I’ve been really bad about posting on Fridays lately. So sorry! In Monday’s post I mentioned the spaghetti that Fred’s mom makes and it truly is wonderful. Here’s the recipe:
Pan Spaghetti
Prep time: 1 hour
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
- 1 lb spaghetti, cooked
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese (separated)
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 jar (25 oz.) spaghetti sauce
- Pepperoni slices (optional)
Set oven to 400 degrees. Grease 13x9x2 pan (I used olive oil spray).
Cook spaghetti according to package. Meanwhile; mix milk, salt, garlic powder, oregano, 1 c. mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, and eggs together in a medium size bowl. Set aside.
Drain and rise spaghetti and put in pan. Mix spaghetti with cheese mixture. Then top with sauce and remaining mozzarella cheese. You may also put pepperoni on top of cheese if you want (according to DH this is the perfect topping).
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes.
