We are married!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone that helped us make they day perfect. Fred and I could not have made the day what it was without our family and friends help! I hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.

Soon we’ll get all our pictures up (and yours, if you send them to me or Fred via email) on the site. We also have pictures to edit and arrange from our honeymoon to New York city. We had a great time, by the way, but I’ll talk more about that later, right now I have to get yet another lesson plan done for a tutoring session I have with a second grader this afternoon.

Thanks again to everyone and if you have pictures of the day, email them to me or Fred and we’ll add them to our website!

Forever is a long time… GOOD!

In exactly 2 weeks…

Fred and I will be getting married!  Personally, since last October, when Fred proposed, time has really flown by!  We’ve both been busy with grad school, work, and home improvements that now that I’m looking back, I can’t believe it’s been over a year.  Now, with just two weeks to go, I feel like there are a lot of little details to attend to get ready for the wedding in just a small amount of time.  However, I am not worried that it’ll all get done.

Some advice for anyone thinking of planning a wedding and going to graduate school at the same time:  DON’T DO IT!  Instead of being busy with just wedding plans, Fred and I both are busy with wedding plans and school assignments.  It’s getting down to the wire and it’s getting a pretty crazy!

Even with the craziness, I’m not going to be one of those brides who say, “if I could do it all over again, I’d elope”, because I wouldn’t even consider it.  It’s important to me to have our family and friends together with us on our wedding day.  So, if I could do it all over again, I may not take graduate classes and complete wedding plans at the same time, but I would still plan the wedding the way we have.  So, thank you to everyone who plans on joining us November 3rd for our wedding and reception.  We are truly blessed to have wonderful family and friends.  Without you, we wouldn’t be the people we are today.  Fred and I look forward to seeing everyone in two weeks!!!

Daisypath Ticker

Fred and I will be getting married in just 34 for days! We’ve been so busy with work, graduate school, and just every day life, that I feel like there’s still a lot to do for our big day. With all the little things that need done, the most important part of our day needs no more preparation than what comes naturally for us; grow more in love for each other each day. So when people ask me if I’m ready, no matter how many things I have left on my to-do list for the wedding, I am completely ready to be Fred’s wife!
